Have A Day Filled With Love - CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge

I am having so much fun participating in the various challenges out there. This is such a great way to get not only inspiration, but also to challenge myself to think outside of the box. It also helps me get cards made to my stash! Yippy!

This card is one that I am submitting to CAS(E) This Sketch card challenge, which is a weekly challenge blog for Clean And Simple cards. The sketch for this challenge was provided by Chrissy Larson. To see more of her work, go to her Three In The Nest Creations blog. Below is the sketch that was provided. As you can see, the only real adjustment I made was to turn the card and add the sentiment both above and below the diagonal stripe.

All of the papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart. I used some leftover scraps from the Laughing Lola workshop kit and the sentiment, I believe, came with the Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection. I layered the patterned papers, then attached them to the cardstock and then trimmed them to fit the cardstock. Then I used Twilight mini pigment pad for the sentiment and added clear embossing powder. That was pretty much it!

Thanks for stopping by and I would greatly appreciate your comments. I look forward to reading your thoughts. In the meantime, Happy Paper Crafting!
