Love You - Addicted to CAS

I am so happy to welcome February! I love February, especially since I love celebrating friendship and love.  I have been working on my Valentine's cards and have another to add to the collection.
I kept this one Clean And Simple (CAS) and it is my submission to Addicted to CAS Challenge for this week. They use a code word for their challenges and this week the code word is LOVE. How fitting!.

For the background heart  and the "YOU" I used a stamp from Simon Says Stamps called Valentine Spoons. I just received this stamp set and love it. It has a wonderful Happy Valentine's Day sentiment stamp that I shall be putting to good use. I stamped the heart using Gypsy exclusive ink from Close To My Heart and then stamped over it with Dazzle Versamark ink in Champagne onto a piece of Daisy White cardstock. It doesn't show up to well in the photograph (frown). I used my Cricut to cut out the "LOVE" from the Sweethearts cartridge out of Regal Rose cardstock from Stampin Up. The red heart was cut on red felt that I got awhile back and don't remember where. I used a border punch from Stampin Up for the border on the bottom. I mounted this all on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, also from Stampin Up.

Before you go, I would really appreciate it if you would leave me a quick comment. Thank you so much. In the meantime, Happy Paper Crafting!

Thinking of You Simon Says

Yes, I am thinking of Simons Says, Simon Says Stamps that is.  I just joined their Monthly Card Kit and received my first kit yesterday. It was the kit for February and it includes some absolutley adorable patterned papers, along with some cardstock that matches perfectly. Also included is the Thinking Of You clear stamp set, a bottle of Studio Semi-gloss acrylic paint, a strand of ribbon, self-adhesive letters and chipboard arrows.
Here is my first completed card using the supplies included in the kit. The only thing I added where the yellow rhinestones and ink. Isn't this lovely!
I can't wait to dive in and play with the rest of the supplies.  If I ever get YouTube working again on my computers, I will put up a couple of videos highlighting these products.

Happy Paper Crafting, Angelina
